Noah's Ark is Built

Hey everybody! It sure was an eventful week around here. Mommy's back at work now, so I've been going different places during the week. I was at Cousin Gail's on Monday and Thursday, and then Mommom's on Tuesday and Wednesday, and then spent the day with Mommy on Friday. Daddy was in Washington for two days and I really missed him, but now he's back.

Anyway, the big news is, my room is finally done! Even though I arrived very early, my furniture came very late, but it finally came in on Friday, and Mommy did a great job setting up the room!

It was a fun weekend, too. Saturday was my cousin Suzy's first birthday party, so we went down to Delaware to celebrate (yes, now I've been to three states- with a fourth to come next week!) Then, on Sunday, Mommy and Daddy's friends Bill and Christie came to visit, and I got to meet their son Scott, who was born just two days before I was.

I'm excited for Friday, when I get to go on an airplane for the first time, and my first visit to Minnesota! I'm going for my cousin Sophie's Bat Mitzvah, and I get to see Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Amy, as well as meet my great-grandparents and a whole bunch of aunts and uncles and cousins!

Anyway, back to sleep now. Thanks for checking in everybody!

Love,
Noah

Three Months Old!

Hey everybody. Sorry I haven't written in a few days, but it's been a pretty busy time. The big news is, on Thursday I turned three months old! That's right, just nine more months until my first birthday!

Lots more going on this week. I found that that my new cousin, who Aunt Debra and Uncle Jason are expecting, is going to be a boy! He, Daniel and I are going to have so much fun together in the years to come, although since Cousin Avi's going to have a little sister, it won't be all boys.

On Friday we went to the zoo again, and then I went to my first-ever Shabbat dinner, at Mommy and Daddy's friends' Sarah and Brian's house! The challah smelled really good and I can't wait to be able to eat it.

It's a big time of year for sports, and I've been watching a lot- baseball especially, as well as hockey with Mommy and soccer with Daddy. I can't really tell much about what's going on, but I can't wait until I'm old enough to start going, and playing, too! I got my first taste this morning, when I went to a T-ball game that my friends Dominic and Alena were playing in.

Anyway, back to napping now. But thanks so much for checking in!

Love,
Noah

Family, Animals, and "Who is Noah?"

Hey everybody! I've had quite a busy week, running all over town with Mommy and Daddy and the rest of my family.

Before I tell you all about my week, I thought I'd share that I went to the doctor today. I'm doing really well, and now I weigh six pounds and eight and a half ounces! I'm also 18 and a half inches long. The doctor gave me some shots, which hurt, but Mommy said I handled it really well.

Anyway, on Tuesday we had a whole bunch of family over at our house, including my cousin Avi and his mom, Cousin Alys, who stopped at our house before they head back to Seattle. I met them for the first time at the seder and it was great to see them again.

During the day Tuesday we went to the park by our house. Here I am with Mommom and cousin Daniel.

Anyway, on Wednesday Mommy, Mommom, Aunt Hannah and Cousin Daniel took me for my first trip to the zoo! We saw all kinds of fun animals (including the penguins, above)- and I especially enjoyed the turtles, the hippos, and especially the monkeys- they remind me of a lot of my stuffed animals.

It was a pretty tiring day, so I slept a bit while we were there, but I promise to be more awake next time we go.

I've also really enjoyed the time I've been spending with Daddy when he's home at night. He always feeds me at midnight, which was good timing the other night when his favorite baseball team happened to be playing a West Coast game on TV:

The hat's a little big on me, I know- but I'll grow into it. And Mommy's going to be sure to put me in Phillies clothes soon.

A couple nights later, Daddy and I were watching "Jeopardy," and guess what- I was the answer in "Final Jeopardy!"

Also this week, on Monday I slept through the night for the first time. Mommy and Daddy were very appreciative.

Anyway, time to get back to sleep now. Keep checking back in to hear about my weekend adventures!

Love,
Noah

Sunny Days

Hey everybody! Well, Thursday was an exciting day- it was the day I was originally supposed to be born. I like to think I benefited from having a two-and-a-half-month head start.

It's been a really beautiful week around here, so we've been spending a lot of time outside. I hung out with Mommy and my friends Dominic, Christopher and Alena on Friday, and spent the day in the city Saturday with Mommy, Mommom and Aunt Debra.

Tonight I enjoyed getting to talk to Grandma and Grandpa on Skype, and I'm excited to see them when we visit Minnesota in a few weeks!

Anyway, better get back to napping. Thanks for reading the blog!

Love,
Noah
