At the Shore

Hey everybody! Mommy and Daddy and I just got back from a wonderful weekend at the Jersey Shore. It was my first visit and I really enjoying going to the beach and hanging around the house with my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins!

The beach was a lot of fun, and I also enjoyed going to Ocean City- can't wait to be able to go on all the rides with Cousin Daniel.

But that wasn't all the excitement this weekend- I also rolled over for the first time, and played with a rattle too!

Anyway, here are some highlights:

That's all for now. See you all on the beach this summer!

Noah

May Fun

Hey everybody! Things have been going pretty well in the last couple of weeks, I've been eating, sleeping, eating, sleeping, and playing with Mommy and Daddy. I'm very excited for this weekend, because I get to go to the shore for the first time! Daddy said he didn't see the ocean for the first time until he was 12 years old, and I get to visit the beach after just four months.

Also, Mommy has me very excited about the Flyers being in the Stanley Cup Finals. Cousin Daniel got to see the Phillies win a championship when he was a baby, so hopefully I'll get to see a parade too. Daddy said if the Flyers win he'll get me a toy Stanley Cup!

Anyway, here are some highlights from the last week:

Thanks for reading everyone, and have a good long weekend!

Love,
Noah

Entering the Covenant

Hey everybody! Well, last Sunday was a very special day, because we celebrated my bris! Normally, Jewish boys have the bris ceremony on their eighth day of life, but since I was in the NICU for all that time we didn't have it until this weekend.

Anyway, Uncle Stephen performed the ceremony, before lots of family and a few friends too. Here are some highlights of what was a wonderful day:

Mommy and Daddy and me.

Grandma and Mommom hold me during the ceremony.

My very proud Daddy.

My official naming certificate.

The awesome cake Aunt Jaime made for me- get it? Noah's ark!

Aunt Hannah and Cousin Daniel hold me.

Me with Cousin Goldie, who graduated from college the day before but still made it for my special day. Mazel tov, Goldie!

Me with Aunt Debra and Aunt Ruthie, and my new Rubber Duckie.

The men enjoy cigars. Where's mine, Daddy?

Poppop holding me.

Anyway, here are some other highlights from the weekend:

Well, as you can see from this picture, I'm pretty tired, so back to napping. But thanks for reading everyone!

Happy Mother's Day and Four Months!

Hey everybody! I've been having a really busy week. First, the good news- I went to the doctor last Friday and I now weigh eight pounds seven ounces! Yes, I now weigh more than four times what I did when I was born! And that's appropriate, because on Saturday i'll be four months old!

Anyway, last Sunday was my first Mother's Day, and we celebrated by going over to Aunt Hannah's. Unfortunately, Daddy was sick that day and couldn't join us, but it was great to see everyone. Happy Mother's Day Mommy!

Me with Mommom and Cousin Daniel.

With Poppop Joe.

Me with Granny and Mommom.

I've been spending my days during the week at Mommom's and Cousin Gail's, and then spending Fridays with Mommy. Today Cousin Gail took me to an herb sale, and on the way home I saw some horses!

Cousin Caren and I.

Thanks for the bottle, Cousin Daniel!

Anyway, I'm excited for Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Amy to visit this weekend. Time to get back to sleeping, but I'll check back in soon!

In the Land O' Lakes

Hey everybody! Well, I know it's been awhile since i've written, but that's because I just on my first-ever trip! I went with Mommy and Daddy to Minnesota, to visit Grandma and Grandpa and a whole bunch of relatives I was meeting for the first time!

I got to fly on a plane for the first time, and Mommy really appreciated how cooperative I was, in both directions.

Once we landed we went right to Grandma and Grandpa's house- where Daddy grew up- and I got to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa, who I really missed a lot.

Of course, it was also great to see Aunt Amy, and meet Jason for the first time too!

The occasion of the trip was my cousin Sophie's Bat Mitzvah, and not only did she do a great job, but she was nice enough to include a blessing for me in the service! Mazel tov, Sophie!

Anyway, all in all it was a pretty fun time. Here are some highlights:

Me with my great-grandmother, Grandma Barb.

Cousin Jessi and I.

Cousin Maddie and I at her sister Sophie's party.

Auntie Bonnie and I.

Me with my Elmo kippah, which Aunt Debra just got me in Israel. I know it's big- Daddy said it looks like a beret!

The door of Grandpa's office. Recognize some of the pictures?

Me with my new friend Isaac, whose parents Jeff and Rose introduced us. He's not THAT much bigger than me, it's just the angle!

My cousin Sam, Mommy and me.

I'm back in Philadelphia now. Daddy stayed for a couple of extra days- something about a baseball game- but now he's back. But I'm excited to see Grandma and Grandpa and Amy and Jason again in just two weeks!

All right, time to nap again. But thanks for checking in, and nice to meet all of you who I saw in Minnesota! I'll leave you with a few more pictures from the last week:

Noah
