Zoo Betcha

Mmmm, Mommy's finger

Playing some music

Hey everybody! Well I certainly had an eventful few days. On Friday, Mommy and I drove up to New Jersey to Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Stephen's house, where Cousins Avi and Ella were visiting. Not only was it my first time meeting Ella, but it was the first time all five of us cousins were in the same place together! Poppop Joe was so proud to spend time with all five of his great-grandchildren.
Three cousins, one floor!

Of course I brought Mr. Giraffe with me to New Jersey!

Uncle Stephen holds all three of us- the sort of skill people with four kids must learn
It was time for more family the next day, when Mommy and Daddy took me to the zoo! Mommom and Poppop were there too, as were cousins Daniel, Joshua, Suzy and all of our parents. I got to see all my favorite animals, and I even dressed as an animal, a Lion, for Halloween!
I'm here- which way to the animals?

Anyway, sadly the Phillies lost Saturday night. It's too bad, although the playoff run was fun, and I'm so glad I was awake to watch Roy Halladay's no-hitter with Mommy and Daddy. But Spring Training will be here before we know it and I can't wait for next year when I can go to my first game- Daddy thinks we'll see a Phillies-Twins World Series in 2011!

That's all for now. I'm excited for my first-ever Halloween next weekend!

As you can see from this brief cell phone video from Aunt Debra, I'm more talkative than ever:

Nine Months of Noah

All strapped in- where should we go?

Hey everybody! Well, I had a pretty eventful week. Daddy came back from a business trip Tuesday and then took the rest of the week off, so the two of us hung out all day for three days. We had a great time!

Friday, I turned nine months old, and on the occasion I went to the doctor for my nine-month appointment. I now weigh 15 pounds, 11 ounces and I'm 25 and a half inches long! I'm also now eating more solid foods- three times a day instead of once- and I only need to wear the helmet for sleeping, for car rides and when I'm on my back.

We had a fun day on Sunday. I couldn't get enough of Linvilla Orchards at my friend Nicky's birthday last weekend, so we went again this morning, along with Cousin Daniel, Cousin Suzy and our moms. It was so much fun!

Hey Cousin Suzy

In the pumpkins!

Can I have another pumpkin, Mommy?
It's also been a big sports weekend here in the Silver house- the Phillies are in the second round of the playoffs, the Eagles won today, and the Vikings beat the Cowboys, just like they did just two days after I was born! Daddy was sure glad I was home to watch it this time.

Go Eagles!

Also this weekend- my first time with a sippy cup!

Anyway, I'm excited for my first Halloween in two weeks. Have a good week everyone, and thanks for checking in!

Love,
Noah

Hayrides and No-Hitters

Hanging on the couch with Cousin Daniel

Hey everybody! It's been a pretty exciting October so far. On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy and I went to my buddy Nicky's first birthday party. He had it at Linvilla Orchards, and on top of seeing my friends, I got to go on my first-ever hayride! It was a lot of fun and I even got a little pumpkin to take home.

I'm doing better eating food than ever before and as you can see, that's not all I've been eating:

I keep getting bigger and bigger. Next week, I turn nine months old!

I've been watching baseball on TV every night, both Mommy's team (which is doing well) and Daddy's (not so well.) The games are on so late that I usually fall asleep early, but luckily I was awake until the end of Wednesday's Phillies game, when Roy Halladay pitched a no-hitter! Daddy said I'll always be glad I saw it live. Anyway, it was exciting and I hope to get to go to a parade in a few weeks!

Anyway, better get back to napping now. Thanks for checking in, and have a fun October!

Love,
Noah
