Holiday Cheer

Hey everybody! Well, it's sure been an eventful week for me, with two holidays and two big birthday parties! But first, let me tell you a little bit about the new things I've been doing.

I am ALMOST crawling- I can nudge myself forward, especially when there's a toy right in front of me, and I've gotten quite adept at getting into the "crawling motion"- in fact, most mornings when Daddy comes to wake me up, I'm already in position!

I'm making more noise than ever too. I can go on verbally for 15, 20 minutes at a time- if only they could understand what I'm saying! Still, Daddy loves it when I spend an entire car ride going "dadadadadada!" I even said "yea" for the first time last week!

I'm getting better with eating too. Lots of peas and pears and applesauce and yogurt- and I love Cheerios.

Movies taste good!
Daddy wrote an article about iPads- should I read it, or eat it?
And finally, today I wore shoes for the first time ever!

Anyway, last Thursday I got to celebrate my first-ever Thanksgiving, at Mommom and Poppop's house, with a big group of family! We played around all day and watched football, and Mommom even gave me some pureed turkey- maybe the real thing next year. At any rate, I know I have a whole lot to be thankful for!

Playing with Cousin Goldie

Saturday was another big gathering, for Cousin Daniel's third birthday party! We went to a place called Bounce U, where everyone bounced on trampolines and went down slides- including me!:

Nah I wasn't terrified Aunt Hannah- it was fun! Here's more from that day:

Giving this whole walking thing a try

Visiting with the ladies

Having fun with Mommom...

And Poppop too!

It was a great time, and happy birthday Daniel!

And speaking of birthdays, just a day later we celebrated Mommom's 60th! We went out to dinner and had a great time, even though I was up way past my bedtime. Happy birthday Mommom!

Cousin Joshua and I even dress alike!

And finally, tonight we celebrated the first night of Hanukkah, which they tell me is going to be one of my favorite holidays. We lit the candles, said the blessings and everyone ate lots of latkes- I even got lots of presents! Maybe next year I'll challenge Cousins Daniel and Joshua to a game of dreidel. And what's that Daddy? There's seven more nights!?!

I love the candles

Are those latkes? Mmmm!

My first Hanukkah gift!

Anyway, thanks so much for reading everyone, and happy holidays!

Love,
Noah
